Odd Jobs

I’ve had my share of odd jobs over the years. Probably more than my share, truth be known, including pumpkin painter, evergreen birthday calendar maker, hanger of Christmas-lights-on-a-terribly-steep-slate-roof, and one very strange evening of gluing silk fig tree branches onto fake tree trunks.

One of the best jobs? Foot model for a photo shoot–got to lounge by a swanky pool with a cool drink. It was all in a day’s work for my day job, but pool-side lounging and a new pedicure  are welcome perks any day (color was “Kangarooby” from OPI’s Australian collection)!

The pictures surface from time to time, and here’s the latest iteration, complete with a recipe for sangria, which you can enjoy here.
